i have £36,000 of equity in the house, i went bankrupt for £16,000, if the house is sold and my debts paid what happens to the rest. Is it also true that if it"s sorted in 12 mth period that the bankruptcy is cleared and does not show on my credit file. Many Thanx 4 your time

I think that the best thing you can do is have a chat with your OR.

I would also think that the property is now with a trustee. I am sure that you will also have to take into account their fees - would be interesting to know what they are??

How long ago were you made BR?
i was made bankrupt in july 2007, apparently it has been sent to middlesbro office to insolvency people
