Posted - 28 March 2009 : 11:57:25 sorry for all these questions this form is so complicated!! i am wondering about section 8, i put my flat which is my mortgaged home, then it says in question 8.3 about " apart from properties that you own,rent or lease are there any other properties in which you may otherwise have an interest?"
in addition to my flat in Bournemouth, I stay in a flat in cardiff since I go to univeristy in cardiff for some of the time... my dad however pays this rent and it costs me nothing - I didnt sign a contract for this flat my flatmate here arranged it all. should i put this down will the OR be able to detect this? or will this lead to more questionning or them thinking that my flat in bmouth is not my "home"?
i also have alot of questions abotu income, as I have had a cash income that hasnt been declared, is there anyone I can ring to ask about this as its very complicated?

if your name is not on the lease of the Cardiff flat and nor do you pay the rent then I don't feel you have an "interest" in that particular property. This question relates to properties other than your main residence which you may have a financial interest in or property that you know will be bequithed to you in part or in full in the event of the owners passing.You would need to know this for a fact rather than make an assumption.
The idea is to determine the full extent of your assets within insolvency legislation which may or may not be documented.
