Today I was contacted by the OR and couldn't be happier with my IPA, I have my life back and am now feeling that BR was the best thing I ever did.

I am a single person living alone and thought i'd share the allowances and what was allowed and not allowed:

Rent £290 - ALLOWED
Housekeeping/work meals £320 - DECREASED TO £300 within guidelines
Heating £48 - INCREASED TO £60 in line with guidelines
Water £17 - INCREASED £26.00 in line with guidelines
Telephone/broadband/mobile £40 = ALLOWED
Essential travel £140 - ALLOWED
Clothing £45 - INCREASED TO £50 in line with guidelines
Council Tax £80 - ALLOWED
Prescriptions/medical/dentist £35 - ALLOWED
TV License £12 - ALLOWED
Hairdressing £15 - REDUCED to £10 in line with guidelines
Home Insurance £14 - ALLOWED
Pet Insurance £12.00 - ALLOWED
Car Insurance £28 - ALLOWED
Pension £26 - ALLOWED
Car Maintenance/Tax/Mot £60 - ALLOWED
Contingency/Emergencies £50 - NOT ALLOWED
Holidays/Birthdays/Xmas £45 - NOT ALLOWED
Dry Cleaning £10 = ALLOWED

He also added:

Opticians £10 - ADDED in line with guidelines
Dosmestic Break £40 - ADDED in line with guidelines

I proposed a £78pm IPA, I got £103.00 which is manageable

I just can not explain the relief I am feeling right now that it's over.

I have my interview on the 18th September... do all OR's increase to the guidelines or do you have to ask for it?

A glass of wine or two tonight I think!

As an "Expert" may I ask what the difference is between a contribution to a holiday, which you were denied, and a domestic break, which you were allowed?

I put forward £45.00 for holidays/Birthdays/xmas (£15 each) in one category, that was declined but I was allowed £40 for domestic break (which I gather is a holiday) guess you are not allowed to list birthdays and christmas and this must come from Disposable income.

Yes a couple of glasses of wine have been consumed

The figures were based on single 'ol me living alone.
