Posted - 27 October 2008 : 18:27:37 It sounds like this person will certainly be subject to an indefinite suspension of discharge from bankruptcy. It means if and when he/she returns to this country he/she will be subject to undischarged bankrupt restrictions. It won't look good. You could go to the following link to input the person's name and see if there bankruptcy has been marked as undischarged. If he/she went bankrupt at least 15 or 16 months ago then their name will not appear on the Insolvency Service search (other than if he/she also got a BRO/BRU) unless he/she has not been discharged.
Posted - 13 August 2008 : 01:33:20 Hi, he has an IPA. He had alot of trouble with the OR so he thinks they will be hard on him when he returns. How does he find out what has happened?

Posted - 19 June 2008 : 11:07:35 Hi Becks and welcome to the forum.
Was your friend subject to an IPO or IPA? If so, the OR could suspend discharge from BR.
Posted - 19 June 2008 : 08:19:25 The OR has probably long closed that case and moved on - just like your friend has. I cannot see how the OR can find out that he has returned to the UK to be honest. Was there any reason why he stopped making his payments?
