I was made BR in August 2008 and have just received a letter and Self Assessment form for period upto end tax code year 2009. I was employed on FT basis and placed on NT tax code that went to Moonbeever, am I now expected to pay HMRC the tax back for period Aug08-Apr09? has this happened to anyone else?
