Posted - 08 August 2011 : 21:01:05 I went bankrupt in feb 2011 and am not yet discharged but I have had to file a tax return form to the HMRC, so will I get a tax rebate and if so will this all go to the official reciever?
My tax code hasn't been changed either since going bankrupt so I still pay the amount of tax I have always done. Is all this normal?
Any help will be appreciated.

Because you went BR so late in the tax year, this is probably the reason your code didn't change. I don't think you have anything to worry about there.
