Posted - 05 December 2011 : 23:04:11 I am looking to go bankrupt in april unless I can get some agreement with creditors using redundancy money to pay the costs. I have a Local authority pension that I could take early at a greatly reduced figure I was going to get another job can I be forced to take the early pension?

Posted - 06 December 2011 : 08:07:31 I'm not sure exactly what you mean, do you mean can the creditors force you to take an early pension? If so, no, they can't.
Please make sure you have taken advice before you use any of your pension to pay your debts.
