Hi Mel,
Yes CAB is citizens advice bureau

Views expressed are my own personal views, based on what has happened during my own BR process unless otherwise stated.
Professional advice should always be sought.

Hi Mel,

Yes, Citizens Advice Bureau. Make an appointment with a money advisor at your local CAB and see if you qualify for full funding for your fees and help with your forms.

Sorry you're having a bad time, your creditors certaintly shouldn't be talking to your brother at all about your debts.

Hi Mel,

Have you taken advice to see if bankruptcy is definitely your option?

Have you stopped paying your creditors?

If you are on low income or certain benefits then you will get a reduction in the court fees, and I suggest you make an appointment at your local CAB and see if they will assist you through the bankruptcy.

Hi and welcome.

How much are your debts? It's possible there may be another solution other than bankruptcy but we need a few more details before being able to give basic advice.

Otherwise you can either go and see the CAB or contact one of the experts who post on here. The advice is free.

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again
