We have now given back the keys of our guest house to the Bank. The locks have been changed so the bank have accepted repossession. Do we still have to continue to pay buildings insurance until the property has sold or is it the Banks responsibility now as we have handed them possession???

Hi,

I would say that it is now the responsibility of the bank as they now own the property.

Wouldn't hurt to make a quick phone call to confirm it though.

The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant
