We (a couple) went bankrupt in Dec 09 and were discharged a year later. We managed to keep our home because we paid the BI to the OR. I have recently received a letter from a credit card provider that was named in the BR about PPI, I am aware that I will not have a claim to the money and that it go to the OR but will this reopen everything and could the groups named in the BR come after us again for our house etc or will that be safe.
Many thanks

Hi trog, as Niobe has said it won't affect you at all, the OR will claim it and deal with the creditor.

Give the OR's office a ring on Monday and ask what they want you to do.

Thank you for your reassuring words. Should I send the letter to the OR to deal with, the amount is just over £1200. We never asked any of our creditors about PPI, this just turned up out of the blue.

Hi,

Don't worry, it won't open up a can of worms and none of the other creditors will know about it and they were bound by the BR in the first place.

Your house is perfectly safe.
