I have recieved my final BT bill for the old house. My question is this... Do I pay it all knowing that the majority of it was for the period PRIOR to my BR or do I phone BT to explain the situation. I dont want to tell them to contact the OR and then get blacklisted as we have got a new BT a/c in the new house. But I dont want to pay them and the OR find out as I assume it would be classed as a preferential creditor.
Any advice would be appreciated on this one guys,, thanks

Hi

if you have a different account number I would suggest you call the OR first and do as they suggest.

I suspect they will want to put the prior debts into Br.

However if the bill is reallt small it probably isn't worth the call
