Hi All

With regards "normal monthly expenses" I see from the guidance issued from the Insolvency Service

http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/incomepaymentordersagreements.htm

"Payment under a maintenance order or Child Support Agency assessment" are considered as reasonable expenses. In my situation my monthly payments to the mother of my child are not formal with regards any Orders and don't involve the CSA but I do have records going back quite a while of monthly standing order's being made to the mother of my son. I'm not on his birth certificate and we were not married, do you think the OR will query this?

Maybe I could take my boy for a day out at the High Court? Or the OR can interview him, he's definitly my son

Hi

you won't need to produce your son and please don;t take him to the high court because if he ran off you would never find him!

If you have historical data showing you have made £X per month over a number of years then the OR will be satisfied with your explanation
