Could someone please tell me what the above are? I have seen the terms used in various threads but cannot find an explanation of them.

BRU is a Bankruptcy Restrictions Undertaking, whereby a bankrupt person agrees with the OR that they will have a BRU, normally given for gambling or hiding asset, etc, it in effect makes a person stay under the restictions of bankruptcy for longer, up to 15 years if necessary

A BRO is a Bankruptcy Restriction Order, this means the bankrupt person does not agree with the OR and is taken to court to enforce it and these are normally for longer than if the person had accepted the BRU when offered
