I declared bankruptcy in 2008, I might have forgotten to enter a small debt maybe from around 1998, recently had a letter from mk rapid recoveries stating they bought debt in my name from shop direct finance company on 4th October 2010, this is over 6 years ago surely covered by statute barred, but also would my 2008 bankruptcy order cover me in regards of this, though I may have missed it from my debtors petition. thanks
It would have been covered by your BR but it should also be statute barred by this time as long as you don't acknowledge the debt.
