Today i got a letter from a loan company with my address on it but addressed to a name I've never heard of. Seems like this person has applied for credit but has been declined.
Just want to know is this something i should be concerned about in effecting my household ? Could it be a scam in which someone uses my address.
Is there a way to check my household credit applications etc ?
You need to contact firstly the company and say that this is not you.
You need to contact all three agencies to see if anyone has made an application in your name and see if any searches have been made.
