Hi, It is my husband who is filing for bankruptcy and he has been told to change bank account. I have a spare account i rarely use in my name, can he get his wages and direct debits into/out of my spare account? would we have to declare this? Or is it better for him to have them put into another basic account in his name? Thanks, Beth

probably best to get the basic account

If he uses your account it might not make his accounts clear cut and could add confusion.

The OR seems to be happy with CO-OP and Barclays, your spare account might not be BR friendly and that could add stress at the time of going BR

regards Richard
