Hello. I have a question. I do have bank debt 1000 GBP. On top of this I have couple direct debits to pay each month which are 400GBP plus rent 500GBP. My income after tax are 1000GBP. I can't repay my bank debt and live normally because everything I get I have to spend on my bills. I live in England since 2006. My nationallity is Polish. I never have had any financial problems since. Can I claim bankruptcy? Or is there any other sollution to me? Thank You.
It really isn't worth going bankrupt for £1000. Is this a loan with the bank? If so try speaking to the bank to see if you can work out lower repayments.
What are the other direct debits for? Are they for other creditors (loans, credits cards) or are they for council tax, electricity, etc.?
