Hi everyone!

I am due to be discharged in early March and I believe the insolvency register is changed on the date of your discharge. Then again, I have heard that your details stay on the register for 3 months from date of discharge. How can I print off my discharge details from the register to show I am now discharged. I don't want to have to wait another 3 months after my discharge date before I have proof of discharge.

Can anyone advise please?

Hi Xmas baby

your status on the register is changed automatically at midnight on the date of discharge

you will however remain on the register for a period of three months. During this three months print off details of your discharge, if you do not do this and need a copy of discharge you will have to go to court pay about £60 and they will provide a court stamped certificate

some creditors will accept the print out from the register as proof you have been discharged other wont.

If you are looking to have your credit file cleaned. i know that Skippys blog has been mentioned as very helpful

regards Richard
