MY BOYFRIENDS NAME WENT ON THE MORTGAGE ONLY TWO YEARS AGO AND THE MORTGAGE HAS BEEN GOING FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS WHICH I HAVE PAID. MY BOYFRIEND NOW SAYS HE CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THE MORTGAGE AND IS GOING TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY BUT I WAS PAYING THE MORTGAGE. WILL THE COURT STILL FORCE THE SALE?
hi and welcome to the forum it is possible that the OR will percieve that your boyfriend has some interest in the property if he has only paid for 2 yrs it is not likely to be half but a percentage less than half is there anyequity in the property? if there isn't then your boyfriends BI should be able to be bought from the OR for £1 and £210 costs
