Arrow Global bought my debt of £1650.00, I paid a check of £100. In first week of January I sent them a cheque of £20 and and offer of £20/month. Did not hear from them until I decided to give them a call today to check when they will be taking the money from my account which I gave them before; The person I spoke to told me there is a hearing date for bankruptcy pettition on me on Wednesday 17th February and they will be posting a letter to me today.
Please can anyone help. I want to know what are my options; I don't want this to go ahead how can I stop it from happening? I am prepared to pay by instalments. I own a hope jointly with my husband will we loose the house? I am so freaking out and scared now please help. we have three children 17yrs old twins and 8yrs boy. Thanks |

Hi Grace
wow what a shock to the system
have you received any other communication from them or the original creditor, they normally go through a system of letters and phone calls before they opt for BR.
do you have written correspondence indicating you willingness to pay the debt ?
although a creditor can apply for BR at any time they normally do adhere to a system
when i first read your thread, my initial response was someone in the arrow global office was saying words to take the mick out of you, or unfairly intimidate you.
most creditors if and when they receive an offer to pay from the client will accept the money , have they cashed your Cheque ?
once a creditor applies for BR you ahve a set time frame to answer the petition, should you pay the debts within 3 months of bankruptcy it can be anulled.
do you have other debts are they getting to the same situation ?
Grace I have so many questions that i would like to ask in order to get an overview of your situation, so that i can help with some suggestions btu because time is pressing and you have to start getting things in order to prepare for the 17th
I would suggest dropping an email to one of the experts to the left outlinning everything, they would be able to help and put your mind at rest.
I used Paul and his team at Reviva and strongly recomend them
good luck Richard |

Thanks Richard, I have spoken to one of your men and he suggests I write to the court and let them know that I have written to them and offered a payment and never heard from them again. And to ask for some more time to prepare. He will contact me on Tuesday to discuss my options. I am scared and worried but happy that someone will help me through this legal process. Thanks
