Hi

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all of you on this site who have helped me over the past year especially Melanie and Paul.
My BR is over on 26th Feb 2010. I can remember this time last year when I was scared to death, not sleeping wondering what the future would hold.
It was not an easy decision to go BR because it had happened 10 years ago but I did it.
During my year of BR I have separated from my Husband which is a positive thing because our marriage was doomed due to his excessive drinking.
He also went BR and his name is still on the mortgage even thought he moved out in May 09.
No one has bought the BI in the home because I may want to hand the keys back and rent.
If the negative equity does not change ( - £12,000 at the moment)
would the ownership be given back to me from the trustee after another two years or would they still force a sale.?

i would think the trustees are only interested in making money to pay for their fees (i am cynical)
if in 2 yrs there is equity in the property then they would likely force the sale or offer the BI to you at the time for the value of the equity

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman)
RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!
