if your dad has signed a personal guarantee for a debt of yours, the creditor can pursue him for the full amount even if you are BR

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman)
RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!

Chester

if Karin has spoken to the creditor and they have agreed token payment,

is there a set time before they will chase dad ?

suppose i have answered own question varies from lender to lender, but the main thing would be to get an agreement in writing.

Karin if you have a number of debts and considering BR as an option, i would suggest contacting one of the experts, you do not want to take a step that could effect your family

regards Richard
