Most of my debts are from 2003 to 2004 and i have no paperwork relating to agreements etc. On SOA what do i put for dates? Should i get a credit report from experian / equifax etc, do they show dates of agreements / defaults etc? |

Just try and make the best estimate you can - at the end of the day the OR can get this information directly from creditors if they deem it necessary.
For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com |

Hey hammy, if you register with www.annualcreditreport.co.uk/ it lists your lenders and start dates. It's free if you want to wait for the report to be sent to you, or you can pay about £1.50 to view it straight away. I had a look at mine the other day, worth a look. Hope that helps. Good luck. Hi Hammy I got a free credit report with experian. Its free for 30 days so you need to remember to cancel it or you pay £6 or there abouts. It list all the gory details about all your debts - dates, amounts etc. You can get the report online in seconds!

Hi Hammy,
when completing the SOA, the golden rule is that if the debt is less than 12 months old, the date the debt was taken needs to be as accurate as possible. Over 12 months old, the month and/or year should suffice.
