HI Lindsay

welcome to the forum

sorry to read about your situation

Housing and ONK have made a big entry in the forum questions under housing, which should give you loads of good info

visit your local council housing department (they have a duty officer) or homeless trust and ask for help, they will be slow at sorting you out purely due to the lack of available local authority properties. but speak to them so that you understand the system and processes

Unless you in the past have made your self intentionally homeless they have a duty of care to you and the Kids.

in your current situation a privatly rented property may not be the solution.

sorry cannot help further

Richard

Hi Lindsay

Sorry to learn of your problems.

Let us have a few more details and I will see if I can assist you.

Are you in private rented accommodation?

Has the landlord started any action against you for the arrears?

have you spoken to your local council housing department or any other adviser say CAB etc?

Set out a pen picture and I will try to help you, Richard
