we handed back the keys to our home to the morgage lenders then filed for bankrupty it had a seured loan on it but the courts said as we gave it bak the loan is now unseured our home has ben sold and the mogage people are paid of what happens to our unseured debts now we have been made bankrupt will we have to pay any thing back

It should be covered by your bankruptcy.

Hi Glenda

If you haven't already done so tell the mortgage company about the bankruptcy and the OR about the mortgage shortfall.

Any shortfall is part of your bankruptcy and you shouldn't pay them anything.
