my friend signed over the ownership of his house to his partner about 1 year ago, he is now likely to go bankrupt, can the house be taken back to pay off creditors

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

The answer could be yes. It depends upon how the property was transferred - was it at market value for example?

Post back with a bit more detail and we may be able to guide you.
