 loan of £25,000 for my brother

i told the or i took out a loan of £25,000 for my brother, he has since contacted him asking for it back. i felt pressurised at the time and was overwhelmed! please help, can they ask for this £ back? i made a mistake in saying the loan wss for him!

YES, they can ask for it back. If the loan wasn't for him what was it for, the OR will want to know. The board will always advise complete honesty with the OR as it makes everthig a lot easier in the long run.
