Depends which benefits and whether you have disposible income after reasonable expenditure over the £100 threshold

Why not post your outgoings online and total income

Hi Stevie

this appears a duplicate entry

" how much will the OR take"

the experts and regular posters have given you different answers, i think that this comes back to the fact that The OR, have different rules and interpretation of the rules for each region. yes stupid and frustrating.

nothing further to add than what has already been written on other thread

regards Richard

as i said on the other thread no IPA will be set up if you are only on benefits so no money will be taken of you regardless of your surplus.

this is a direct quote off the Insolvency Service website

"An IPA should not be sought where the bankrupt's only source of income is state benefit"

the link is here

http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/TechnicalManual/Ch25-36/Chapter31/part7/part2/part_2.htm#9

It is very clear cut
