I was discharged from BR last week..without an IPO..!!!
I was unemployed during 8 months of my BR and just before Xmas I took a job on abroad..I duly told the RTLU that i got a job and told them that sometime in January i will let them know exactly where i stand in terms of income and outgoings as there was some doubt in what i could still claim as benfits..working tax credits etc(which apparently you can still claim if you work in EU).I told RTLU in Jan that i was out of pocket by around 200 pounds.
Although I was very experienced I was paid a modest salary which i accepted as it was a new start for me and in a new country yet i did tell my employer that if my probation period worked out i would be looking to negotiate with them on a higher salary.I knowingly left the negotiations until after discharge as i wanted to avoid an IPO.Now i have negotiated a salary which is nearly 3 times as much as they have given me a new title and everything.
Questions.
1.I am O.k to do this.?
2.Do i from now even need to tell the trustee what i earn? I mean if he asks can i refuse to tell him as that has no consequence in realising my assets?
3.Will it look odd that i am now earning more than last month?
4.Is there anything they can do..?..like undischarge me or try to set an IPO?
ANSWERS PLEASE....

3,doesn't matter you are discharged without an IPA

I take it that newby was not discharged early, 8 months unemployed and then low paid job between Xmas and Now, So massive congratulations on the new job new pay and new life !!!!!
so agree with Chesters answers .
if Newby had been discharged early would that make a difference to the answers that have been provided ?

you do not have any resposibility to the RTLU now you are discharged and you do not have an IPA.
yes you can tell them to go away if they were to ask (which they shouldn't)

RTLU..passed case onto IP...to act as trustee..does that matter?

no that doesn't matter.
You have fully cooperated with the recognised authorities and have been discharged. You are now free to go about your life and move on.
The historic trustee is interested in releasing assets which would be difficult from a house in significant negative equity.
No BRU was applied for and no extension to the bankruptcy because of lack of cooperation was valid and therefore did not take place.
