Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

To file for BR, you need £600.00 - £150.00 for the court costs and £450.00 for the deposit for the Official Receiver. (This must be in cash at the court)

If you are only in receipt of benefits, you MAY qualify for assistance for the court fee (£150.00). There is a form to fill in - sorry do not know what the form is called - someone will here!

If you have been in the armed services, you could ask SSAFA or the Royal British Legion for some funding

Good luck, Richard
