Hi, I have recently had my house repossed. Do I have to wait for it to be sold before i go bankrupt so the shortfall can be included in the debt pot?
thanks

Hi

No you don't have to wait for your house to be sold before going bankrupt.

When you fill in your forms you will need to put in your estimate of the value of the house and the balance owing on the mortgage.

Any shortfall will automatically be included in the bankruptcy

Hope that helps
