is there no help with the costs for working people not on benefits?

Hi

Not as far as I am aware.

However, you may qualify for some charitable assitance with your BR fees if you have been in the services - RBL and SSAFA for example

The CAB may also have some information about other companies that can help with BR fees so you can give them a call. Unfortunately with the BR fee being raised to £600 it will mean that it could take a few months for people to save up the fee.

If you have decided to declare BR then there is no point continuing to pay your creditors so you could use this money to help towards the fees.
