Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of filing out my bankfuptcy forms and have a couple of questions if I can pick your brains please...
Firstly, would I need to supply details of my pet insurance and also how much a month can I claim for his food. Secondly, if I end up with a NIL tax code, do I then have to put money aside each month for my tak and then pay it at the end of the tax year??? And lastly, can I include my mobile phone & sky in with my land line phone???
Thanks for your time. |

"Firstly, would I need to supply details of my pet insurance and also how much a month can I claim for his food."
The guidelines mention that evidence of a pet is required to claim expenses for a pet but not everyone has pet insurance. Normally £20 is the max amount for pets regardless of type or number. If you spend more then you can put the amount down and the OR may reduce it. If they ask for proof of a pet then you can either send your pet insurance details in or provide receipts of pet food.
"Secondly, if I end up with a NIL tax code, do I then have to put money aside each month for my tak and then pay it at the end of the tax year???"
The tax will be collected by MoonBeever, which is the OR's solicitor. It may take a couple of months for them to setup the collection so in the meantime put the tax you would normally pay to one side.
"And lastly, can I include my mobile phone & sky in with my land line phone???"
Don't put it on your SOA as Sky as this will be refused but the TV/broadband/mobile packages normally work out cheaper than a landline/mobile package so just put the amount you pay down as 'Landline phone' |
