Hi Jason

Once you are declared bankrupt your creditors have to pursue their claims through the Official Receiver and are not allowed to take action against you personally

There are a few exceptions - CSA, Court fines etc - but the only creditors who can take anything from you are those who have security over an asset - such as an HP company on a car if you don't keep up the payments, or a mortgage company over your house.

Bridgewood specialise in helping people deal with their debts and make the most of their financial situation - providing free, no obligation debt advice.

We can also setup a complete range of solutions including debt management plans, IVA and bankruptcy support.
