Ok, another question

I have arranged to have a new account with COOP so that i have access to money etc

My court date is 29th Sept
I will be paid on 24th - for arguments sake, lets say £2000

As soon as i am paid i will withdraw the money for bankruptcy fees, and withdraw our shopping/expenses money - this will leave just the right amount of money to cover direct debits and nothing more.

I will have to put the account details and amount of money on my SOA - lets say approx £1200 in the account for DD's

Will the OR want that money? It has to be in an account, COOP being the safest - but it's not spare money or an asset - it's for bills? He cant take that money from me can he otherwise i would be a month behind on all legitimate bills?
Also, surely he will know that i have withdrawn cash becasue he will see a balance of £1200, bills of £1200 - he must know we have cash stashed somewhere.
What should i do?

Don't worry, the OR will know that you have to have money in your account for DDs, and s/he will be able to see how much they are on your SOA.

Regarding the money that you are withdrawing, I think there is a section on the BR forms for cash in hand, and you would declare that money there. Hopefully Viki will be able to confirm.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Yep as tracey says the OR will actually write to the bank and state that they have no interest in the amount that covers your ordinary living expenses
