Hi Everyone, Iv been reading through the forum since 4am this morning , I couldnt sleep,
OK we , my husband myself and 2 children are about to lose absolutely everything that we have worked really hard for , for the last 15 years , we,v always been very careful with our money and invested it in our business, THEN we bought a pub , 2 years down the line and we are MASSIVELY in debt and working in excess of 100 hours each per week and there is no sign of things getting better, we have in actual fact turned our pub around and our reputation is now becoming very good. We are in actual fact very good at what we are doing . Wev just got 30,000 from the slae of one of our properties , but to be honest it is literally a drop in the ocean for what we actually need.
Our pub company are evil they charge extorsionate rent and double the open market beer price , we just cant go on , some days , I cant actually hold my head up . I think we are both very close to nervous breakdowns and cant see any future for us , other than on the dole . Please Please someone help us !!!!

Posting on this forum is taking the first step to resolving your financial issues one way or another.

One very important thing is not to rush into anything. If BR is your option then it is very important to plan for it rather than declaring BR as soon as possible and then having issues afterwards.

I would strongly recommend that you seek professional advice about your situation i.e. the amount your owe, any assets, etc. The CAB, CCCS and National Debtline provide free advice and the people below also provide free advice but also offer BR assistance with completing the forms, etc.

Jones Giles - http://www.jonesgiles.co.uk/

I would also recommend speaking to several different companies (i.e. maybe the CAB and Reviva) so you can see if one company offers advice, which suits you better than the other.

Hi

Your situation is complicated because you are landlords of a Pub, and the options are somewhat different in your situation.

Bankruptcy is only one solution but there are several others depending upon whether you are trying to trade through the situation or not.

The first and most important thing to do is to get help and advice. Because you are running a business, a pub, and have personal debts form experience the CAB and CCCS are not the right people for you.

Please speak to one of the forum experts.

kind regards

Paul

The contact details for the experts are in the experts' section at the side of the page. I would recommend contacting one or two and they will be able to advise you.

I would recommend speaking to both of the below:

Reviva UK: http://www.revivauk.com/
Jones Giles - http://www.jonesgiles.co.uk/

Reviva UK (Paul) has already replied to your issue here and is very highly recommended. As he has mentioned your situation may have more than one solution and will probably require a decent chat to discuss your options.

Go to the above websites and select the 'Contact Us' option and either give the companies a call or request a call back at a suitable time.
