I was discharged in 8th July 2010. I have an interview via an agency for customer service at british gas but they said they need to do credit checks although i wont be dealing with anything financial.

Even though am now discharged, can i fail this check as i still would do if applying for loans etc ?

Would recommend that you call their HR department and make an anonomous request for info.

If for some reason the bankruptcy would exclude you from the position then it not worth applying so worth checking first.
