Hi I have been advised that I go bankrupt-however I have just set up a small business(6 months after redundancy trying to get on my feet) with a business bank account will this be affected

Is this a business BR or personal BR? Is the business a Ltd company?

Hi
As a sole trader br is different than if you were employed.

You can continue as a sole trader but would need to continue in br in the same trading name as before br. This is the tricky bit with a bank account.
It is highly unlikely that you will be allowed by the bank to have a separate business account.

You should also take advice about stock, premises, commercial insurance, taking deposits etc etc.

Really worth you having a phone call with one of the experts to go through your options.
