My situation is this, my housemate has just told me he is going to declare himself bankrupt, and I am concerned it might put a mark against my property.
We both live in the apartment which I own, I rent out a room to him, for which he pays a fixed amount per month, this covers everything i.e. we do not share any bills or council tax etc. I am concerned that if he declares for bankruptcy it might negetavely effect the property as I have heard before that it does... Can you advise?
