Hi

I was just wondering when I can get credit again. I don't want to take any out I was just wondering.

And also how do I build my credit history back up.

I have a Vanquis credit card which I've had for a year, although I think some people have got them sooner. It has a high interest rate but providing you pay it off in full every month that's not a problem.

Regarding building your credit history, there's not a lot you can do while you are still BR apart from running your bank account, mobile phone account etc correctly.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Hi

I am working on a downloadable book - free for Forum Users - that describes all about your credit file and how to improve your file over time.

I will post details as soon as the new webpage is up.

It will guide you through every step

Hi,

Paul that would be great. I have been discharged for 2 years now and I have tried everything - updating my credit reports, I am on the electoral roll and I have applied for the Vanquis and the Capital one credit rebuilder cards, and I have been turned down by both, I even applied for a small catalogue and got turned down for that as well.....I don't know what else to do. So, i do hope that your guide will be of some use to me and other people in my position.

Thank you
