Child tax credit £238
child ben £134
There are 2 adults 2 children

Rent £650
Diesel £140 (we dont own the car its through mobility so dont pay insurance or any other costs other than fuel)
Other travel £80 (husband bus/metro to work
nursery £363
Tv licence £13
Groceries £580
Clothing £120
Contents ins £16
mobile £60 (2 phones)
landline £20

Hiya Tricer

I believe that BigAl4787 has answered your other message regarding expenditure that can be included on your SoA. However having looked at the figures above, I can see no difficulties in them beingt accepted by the OR. The likes of the housekeeping, clothing, haircuts and holidays are all within the guidelines set down for bankruptcy expenditure. Other costs such as nursery and travel costs can be justified.
My calculations intimate that you have Disposable Income, after your expenditure as above of £161. If the Official Receiver wants to make an Income Payments Agreement, all he can take is 50% of that income for three years or until your circumstances change.

All the very best

Hi Blackie thank you for your reply, Ill go with those figures if you think they look ok, I wasnt sure about the £580 for groceries but that includes cleaning and toiletries and nappies. BigAl did say that child benefit isnt taken into account as earnings, so our DI would be £27.

CB is taken into account as an income but there should be an equal or greater amount of expenditure that the CB is used for so they cancel each other out.
but if your DI is over £100 the OR will want a %%

Hi, ive just been going over my SOA and theres a few changes since I posted. We have received a letter advising the nursery costs are increasing to £444 per month from Dec. Also my husbands lift home from work has left the company so he now gets the bus/metro home which means his travelling costs have doubled to £160. I noticed I missed house insurance off aswell thats £16.00. We are still waiting for our IVA failure certificate to come before we can go to court, have been told it should be sent the end of this week so are hoping to get appoinment for next couple of weeks. I am unsure how to complete the 1st page of the petition where it has multiple answers for you to delete the appropriate bit, We are from the UK and have not had a business, does anyone have any advice on what parts I delete off? Just want to make sure I complete it correctly. many thanks
