Hi Donna,

Why don't you wait and use that money for towards your bankruptcy fees?

I still think, based on your posts, that you really need some more advice on bankruptcy, even if it's a quick chat with an expert on here just to put your mind at rest re your income and expenditure.

Don't rush to court, if the cheque will only be 14 days, then I'm sure that would be handy to use for your fees.

Just an idea

if you receive the cheque after BR then it is not yours and if you cash it and spend it the OR will find out and get very not happy with you and it is a criminal offence.
wait until you receive it cash it and spend it on fees etc, then there is no problem going BR is mostly about timing and presentation , the actually doing it is only a little bit of it.

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman)
RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!
