Does the Or ask how you got your court fee's? im in court very soon and have had a nightmare with my tax credits, they took my bank details a week ago and they sent me an award notice and the bank details are incorrect.Ive rang them and they'vee said it could be next week before i get my payment so im basically messed up for shopping etc.We have saved some of the fee's and the rest we are getting from my husbands mum which will be approx 850,we cant use our fee money for shopping as we need it for the court so my mam has offered to give me what we would have received for the tax credits. Will this be ok ,will the OR question all this as im worried that this wont be allowed.
Im sorry for going on ,im just panicking and i want it all to go smoothly.
Thanks for your help
Donna

Hi Donna,
I wouldn't worry too much about where you got the money from the court fees, as an examiner I(and as far as I know other examiners) never asked that, as it's a bit of anomaly when you're insolvent, but have to find £600 to declare yourself bankrupt! I had people who got it from surrendering endowment policies, selling an old car etc. or just say you scrimped and scraped it together by making sacrifices.

Also big al as you worked for the insolvancy service im wondering if you have any info regarding a tv etc that i have on a fixed sum credit agreement it says its regulated by the consumer credit act.In your opinion how would the OR deal with that? i have made payments on the tv from 2006-7 and only owe 214(the tv is approx 3yrs old) would the OR claim it back in my bankruptcy as i think its only worth £250-£300.
i have had a few different views on this but as you worked for them what do you think?
Any advice please
