I have had my 6 month SOA review back in September. I was unemployed at the time and so I have no IPA. My discharge is due 8 March, well my year of bancruptcy is up then. Is it likely that another SOA will be requested with 3 months to go assuming my circumstances don't change and I take full time employment. I live in Scotland.

You'll probably get a new income and expenditure sent out to you before discharge, but if you gain employment in the meantime, before your discharge date, you need to notify them and they will want you complete an I&E then.

If a decision was made that an IPO was not relevant/required in your particular circumstances, it would be highly unlikely that you would face another inc & exp review, as this only happens when an individual is given an IPO at an annual review stage (If you do not have an IPO you do not have a review).

Is there ar reason why you have not had an early discharge?

Thank you Melanie and Viki. Viki you say I will have another review and Melanie you say probably not. Anyway thanks for both your replies. Melanie I never heard anything after sending my statement of affairs. That was 2 months ago. It was however obvious I had nothing. Luckily I live with my sister at the moment so dont have to worry too much about money. Would it be worth contacting AIB to see if they would consider an early discharge or
would they possibly just go ahead and do it without telling me.
Why would they consider an early discharge?
Thanks look for forward to a further reply

I didn't have a new I & E prior to discharge. I completed the original one, and then a second one as I moved house but that was it.

Don't ask for ED as I've heard some examiners will put you to the bottom of the pile if you do! Just keep your head down and you'll be discharged after 12 months - it's not long really.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

thanx tracy. My god this has been the longest year of my life, but I have to hold out for the next three months without obtaining an IPA. Just too close to discharge now. But it sounds like it is unlikely I will get an I and E. Here's hoping anyway.
