I was declared BR in 2006, and shortly after, i was sent a new credit card from one of my providers that had a zero balance at the time. I am now at my limit on the card £10,000 due to living expenses and not being able to pay for fuel and shopping as i cant get a debit card. I also have a £4000 credit card balance on one of my parents cards and I am now struggling to pay the minimum payments and have no way of consolidating as i have no credit rating. I dont know what to do, as im in rented accomodation, working in full time employment, but struggling to keep my head above water. |

Hi Darren,
I suggest you speak to an expert on here or the CAB to go through your income and expenditure and your situation and see what the best option is.
Your parents are responsible for the credit card in there name but you can include them as a creditor in whichever solution is best for you.
An informal debt plan may be the best option, with the fact that you have this debt to your parents, but again, I advise you speak to someone to chat it through.
