My ex partner has said he is going to declare bankruptcy. I currently live in our jointly owned home with our 5 year old son and I pay the mortgage which he has not contrbituted to since 2006. How will this affect myself and our son with regard to the house. Will we still be able to stay in the house as I understand that we are able to stay in the house until our son reaches the age of 16 or 18 years? Also, if we are required to sell, what will my ex partner be entitled to from the equity considering he has not contributed to the mortgage payments since 2006? Many thanks
