Student:

Will if affect me getting the next student loan as im currently studying

Would it affect my partners application for an ILR, Im a british citizen but she has to apply.

Could I still be a teacher?

Does it affect which countries I can visit in the future?

I also heard some utility companies help towards the cost of the BR fees.
Is the fee still 600 even though I am a student?

I have just over 20k debt but the CSA have made it impossible for me to figure a way out and I have tried my hardest and its time to give up.

sorry yes it will effect future students if they do credit check however student loans are not included in BR petitions so they may still support your education

not really a problem applying to be a teacher it is probably best to be BR discharged before you apply for next job

utility companies have gone quiet on helping to fund BR.

Hi,

Is your debt to the CSA? As bankruptcy would not wipe this out.

thanks for your quick answers.

I didnt think the Student Loans did credit checks? I thought they were just instead of a grant.

I didnt do any of the usual credit check info from student finance england.

There is debt to the CSA however I have other debts which I was managing until the CSA made their unreasonable requests.

If I increase my income they increase their requests. I am left with 465 a month when I work no matter what I try.

Would you mind addressing the other questions too.

thankyou

CSA payments are a % of income.

Not sure what will happen as regards subsequent student loans as it is debt.

Not sure about the ILR but see no reason why you can't be a teacher - it would be dependent upon the employment criteria for wherever you applied.

No reason you cannot visit wherever you like in the future.

I believe you can only get relief for fees if you are on certain benefits.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.
