I tried to upgrade my cash account with Barclays to a full current one,after the checks were done the guy said i had write offs against my name,he said i should send my discharge letter to the big agencies to update my details.Will this put my name in the clear??I went br in sep 2004.thanks

Have you checked your credit file? It may be an idea to order a copy from the three agencies - Call Credit, Equifax and and Experian and see what they hold on there.

It may be that something needs to be tidied up.

hi,just tried to order my credit reports on line with the 2 big ones but both of them said there was a problem and i should order by post,i have money on my debit card,more than enough to do this,won't they take card payments from ex bankrupts??

You can get reports from all three agencies for either a one off or monthly fee.
