hi, i became a discharged bankrupt in december 2010. i have a barclays basic cash account but would really like to upgrade to a better account but wanted some advice as to who will offer a discharged bankrupt a current account????????

I don't think you'll be able to upgrade to be honest. It seems to be that banks don't upgrade whilst you have bankruptcy on your credit file.

Earlier on I applied online for a Lloyds Classic account. I very much doubt they'll accept me, but I thought I'd try - I'll let you know how I get on!
