That's good news!

Do you already have an IPA? If so you will be assessed under the old rules and won't be able to include anything for emergencies.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

This is the grey area...in the insolvency guide it states..
"where the initial assessment is made on or after 1 December 2010 (regardless of the date of the bankruptcy order) and the bankrupt has surplus income of £20 or more,  the full amount of this surplus income should be sought by way of monthly payments under an IPA (or an IPO if an IPA cannot be agreed)" what is the initial assesment?
Bigal...any ideas?

ddonna that is great news.
I am realy pleased for you.
Which OR office are you with?

From what I have read I don't think you will be getting anything else, apart from the new I&E form, from the OR.
As you haven't had an IPA you will be assessed under the new rules & I'm sure you will be fine. Expenditure has risen so much recently hasn't it?

You will have to keep an eye on the online Insolvency Register to see when you ED goes through. I beleive the OR doesn't inform you of when it actually happens.
Don't forget to print numerous copies of your discharge notice as you will be charged for them at a later date.

Again Cograt's & let us know when the deed is done.

As Glafy has said, Donna will be assessed under the new rules, but I've looked at her income and expenditure and doubt she will get an IPA.
